Das Bluetooth FTP Profil fristet bei Palm OS und Windows mobile leider ein Schattendasein. Symbian hat es seit einigen Versionen implementiert und mit BT 2.0 Chips macht das Profil auch immer mehr Sinn. Für Palm OS gibt es von Softick schon länger eine Lösung nun hat sich auch Resco an Client und Server für Palm OS gewagt.

Damals waren die 480*320 von Palm OS der Hammer zu der Zeit hatte Windows mobile noch 320*240. Heute sieht die Auflösung recht verloren auf einem Nokia N810 im Garnet VM aus.

Eine Virtuelle Maschine in der Garnet läuft und die auf Linux Systemen aufsetzt. Unterstutzt werden wohl Nokia Nxx0 und auch der Asus EeePC.

Der m-Router war eigentlich für Symbian Smartphones gedacht um sie mit dem Rechner für Syncs zu verbinden.
Eine Verbindung ist über BT, IR, USB und den guten alten COM Port möglich.
