Option GX0201 Firmware Update

Ich habe eine T-Mobil web’n'walk Card compact II (PCMCIA; Seriennummer: FT***) welche eine gebrandete Option GX0201 ist.

Diese Karte gibt es auch von Vodafone mit Branding. Vodafone hat Mitte Januar ein Firmware Update (auf  2.5.3Hd) bereitgestellt mit dem die Karte endlich HSDPA mit 7.2 Mbit/s unterstützt. Dieses Update lässt sich nicht in die T-Mobil Karten einspielen.

Vor einigen Tagen hat auch Option für die GX0201 ein Update auf 2.5.11Hd veröffentlicht. Leider konnte man dieses Update auch wieder nicht auf meiner Karte aufspielen. Nach langem googlen habe ich in einem italienischen Forum (forum.telefonino.net) den User giovax gefunden welcher die Updates so abändern kann dass sie auch gebrandete Karten flashen.
